• Dan Wolford | MBA, CFP®


    Dan is currently the sole owner of the firm and its managing officer. In May 1997, Dan partnered with Gary Swisher, the firm’s founder, to realize a dream of becoming a financial advisor. Prior to this career change, Dan had worked as an accounting professional and controller for a central Ohio marketing firm.

    Dan became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant in June 1998, and maintains his FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 & 65 registrations in addition to his Life, Health and Annuities license. Upon graduating with a BA degree from Otterbein College in 1990, Dan married the most important guiding influence of his life, Kimberly. Just before beginning a family, Dan received his MBA degree in Finance from The Ohio State University. Dan and Kim now have five children, 4 daughters (two of whom are adopted from China) and a son. Besides helping make sure everyone in the household gets to the right place at the right time, Dan’s interests include camping and swimming with the family, and Ohio State Football. In practice, Dan enjoys working with estate and retirement planning clients, as well as constructing individual portfolios and corporate retirement plans.

    The foundation of Dan’s practice and the recipient of any glory found within it are God’s alone. Dan, Kim, Anna, Caroline, Isabelle, Grace and Levi are all members of Vineyard Church of Delaware County and enjoy their service to the Lord there.

    Michael A. Henn | CFP®, MFE

    Senior Investment Strategist/ Financial Advisor

    Upon graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Family Financial Management, Michael entered the financial services industry in 2002 and began working as a Financial Advisor for a Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.   In January, 2008, he joined Swisher Financial Concepts, Inc. to expand his growing financial planning practice.  He currently holds his life and health license as well as his 6, 7, 63 and 65 security licenses.  He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification in May of 2007.  Believing learning is a lifelong process and with a goal of high financial competency for his clients, Michael received his Master of Financial Economics (MFE) from Ohio University in August 2011.  Currently, Michael is a Level II candidate in the CFA program.

    Michael’s goal is to work with individuals, families and businesses who want to protect and grow all that they worked so hard to build, and his mission is to work with individuals who are passionate about life and want to make positive impacts.  He strives to develop lasting relationships with his clients through his careful and diligent service, always focusing on their values and goals.  In addition to client advisement, Michael serves as the firm’s Senior Investment Strategist.

     Michael and his wife Lori, an executive in the health care industry, reside in the Lewis Center area.  They both enjoy gardening, cooking, music and travel.  


    Ryan Bosler | CFP®

    Senior Financial Advisor

    Ryan joined Swisher Financial Concepts in 2010. Originally from Lima, he graduated from the U.S. Military Academy. Ryan then served two combat tours in Iraq as an Airborne Ranger before leaving the Army and entering the financial services industry. He became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER in 2011.

    Ryan and his wife, Amber, reside locally here in Westerville. They are blessed with four children: Abigail, Madelyn, Charlie, and Nora. He and his family are members at LifePoint Church. Ryan is passionate about helping men lead abundant lives for God’s Kingdom (John 10:10b).

    Mark C Faubel

    Financial Advisor

    Mark joined Swisher Financial Concepts in May of 2011 after an eight year career in banking. Mark grew up in Boardman Ohio and came to Columbus in 1990 to attend The Ohio State University to study psychology. He later studied Computer Information Systems at DeVry University at both the Columbus Ohio and the West Hills California campuses. Mark brings a long history of management experience with him in various industries including, banking, retail, and restaurant. This previous work history gives Mark a broad understanding of the many diverse needs of his clients. Mark holds both a Series 7 and Series 66 securities license. He is also licensed for Life, Health, Disability and Long Term Care Insurance.

    Mark has been a Westerville resident since November of 2000 when he moved back to Ohio from Los Angeles. Mark brings a community presence with him to the firm. He currently serves on two local boards of trustees in Westerville including The Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce and The Westerville Education Foundation. He has served on several boards and advisory committees over the years and is always ready to serve his community. Mark decided to pursue a career in financial planning because he enjoys working in a relationship business where he can help people and truly make a difference in the community.

    Mark was saved and became a member of LifePoint Church in 2008. In his time there Mark has been blessed to serve as a missionary on numerous mission trips to Cuba, serves in the children’s ministry, and most importantly met his wife Lauren there.  He is a father to his daughter Charleigh and his step-son Micah.


    Brett Vandervort

    Financial Advisor

    Brett signed on to the Swisher Financial team in February of 2014, after completing his Bachelors of Business and Administration in Economics from Kent State University.  He has continued his education by obtaining his Ohio Life, Accident, & Health Insurance license alongside his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and has his sights on additional certifications in the future.

     Brett married his high school sweetheart, Falon, on October 17, 2015. Most weekends you can find Brett spending as much time as possible with his growing family at their home in Centerburg, Ohio. Brett loves being outdoors and enjoys playing golf, basketball, and disc golf with friends.


    Zachary Kountz

    Financial Advisor

    Zach joined the Swisher Financial team in June of 2016.  In addition to receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Planning from Franklin University, Zach has obtained his Life, Accident & Annuities license as well as the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses.  Zach is passionate about helping others. Sound financial advice creates confidence and security through life’s most trying and rewarding situations. He is looking forward to building new relationships as he works toward becoming a Certified Financial Planner.

     Zach and his wife, Carrie, live locally in Westerville and love taking advantage of all the city has to offer, especially the bike path near their home and the many local restaurants.  They also enjoy traveling, cooking together, and spending time with their three nieces and two nephews.

     Zach and Carrie worship at Heritage Christian Church in Westerville, and enjoy leading others to Christ through faith-based philanthropy and volunteering with their Life Group throughout the Columbus community.

    Administrative Assistant

    Diane joined SFC in February 2003.  Although she graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Business Management she was lucky enough to have the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom until the youngest of her three children began school. 

    She and her husband of 25 years live in the Worthington area and are proud parents to 3 children; all of whom are attending college as well as serving in the Ohio National Guard.

    Diane and her family are avid sports fans and while not popular amongst most that live inthis area, her favorite team to cheer for is that team up-north and you may find her slipping in a Go Blue if you visit the office during football season! 

    While her primary role is that of the administrative assistant to both Ryan and Michael you will also find her answering the phone on occasion and greeting clients as they come in the office.

    Kelly Frere

    Administrative Assistant

    Kelly came to Swisher Financial Concepts in February of 2016.  She grew up in Springboro, Ohio and went on to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  Soon after graduating Kelly came back to the Buckeye State to be closer to family and build her career in a better economic market.  Kelly worked as an assistant business manager at a local radio station and then went on to work at an electrical engineering firm, where her range of duties included accounting, human resources, purchasing, facilities management, project management and quality assurance. Basically a Jill of all trades.

    Kelly and her husband, Jameson reside in Worthington.  They were blessed with their son,Luca, who was born on New Years Eve in 2014.  Kelly and her family attend Lifepoint Church in Lewis Center.  Most weekends you can find Kelly spending time with her family, photographing a wedding, enjoying the outdoors or catching up on good movies.
